Teruma Parsha Summary
We learned about the Mishkan. We spoke about different items that the Jewish people donated. We looked at copper, gold, silver, wool, cinnamon. We compared cinnamon and cinnamon sticks. We did a fun science activity where we had to match the various spices by smelling them.
We spoke about the Aron and the keruvim. The shulchan and the lechem hapanim which stayed fresh all week. We heard about the menorah, mizbeach hanechoshes and the curtains that covered the mishkan.

Parshas Teruma Activities
- I placed the pictures of the keilim of the Mishkan in sheet protectors. I had the kids use playdough to create the Keilim, either by placing it on top of the pictures or by creating their own. We molded different keilim of the Mishkan from playdough and drew our parsha picture with highlighters - āgoldā!
- We compared cinnamon and cinnamon sticks. We did a fun science activity where we had to match the various spices by smelling them.
