We focused on places, people, food and language.  We learned about the Great Barrier Reef. The coral, anemones and the various fish and plants that live there. We learned about Ayers Rock also knows as Uluru and saw photos of how it looks red at sunset. We saw photos of the Sydney Opera House and recreated it. We spoke about the Aboriginal Australian people. We talked about how they lived, farmed and their art.  Here is a link  to a page with information about the Indigenous Australians.
