Tu B'shevat coloring pages, puppets and bulletin board decor and ideas

    Tu B'shevat, also known as the "New Year of the Trees," is a Jewish holiday that falls on the 15th day of the Hebrew month of Shevat. It is a time to celebrate and give thanks for the abundance of fruits and nuts that come from trees. Teaching little kids about Tu B'shevat can be a fun and interactive way to introduce them to Jewish traditions and the importance of environmental stewardship. One way to do this is by creating a Tu B'shevat-themed coloring page or puppet activity. Our  Tu B'shevat coloring pages  feature pictures of the shivat haminim - the 7 species of Israel, such as grapes, figs, pomegranates, and dates.  In addition to coloring pages, we also offer  Tu B'shevat puppets . Va'era Parsha Summary We learned about how when Moshe  went to Pharaoh  and told him to let the Jewish people go. Pharaoh  said, who is this G-d? Moshe th rew his stick on the ground and it turned into a snake.  Pharaoh wasn’t impressed because his magicians were able to do the same thing. But when Moshe's  stick ate up the other sticks, the magicians couldn’t do that.  Hashem sent the first makka  of blood . Aharon  hit the    Nile river with the stick and it turned to blood. We learned that Moshe  didn’t hit the Nile  or the ground by  because the Nile  protected him when he was a baby and the ground also when he buried the Mitzri .  We learned about hakarat hatov - acknowledging when someone does something for us .
