Parsha Summary We learned that before G-d created the world, there was nothing. We learned about what was created on each of the 6 days of creation. We discovered different ways to make the numbers on our fingers. Some of the children were able to make different finger combinations using both hands. G-d created the world for us so that we can do good deeds/mitzvot.  We learned about Adam and Chava (Eve) living in Gan Eden (The garden of Eden) and about the Eitz Hada'at - Tree of Knowledge and the tricky snake.  Every week we are going to make a picture of what we learned in this week’s parsha, and at the end of each book of the Torah, we will bring it home. Parsha Drawing Journal Every week, we draw a picture of the parsha (I always did it before shabbos party after reviewing the parsha of the week)

We each  got a coin and did our own counting of how many students and teachers there are in our class. We played a counting game. We had to count the little people figures, so we gave each one a coin and then  counted the coins. We then wrote the number on our number strip. Avram broke all the idols in his father’s store and how he said that the biggest idol broke them all. Terach was very upset at him and took him to Nimrod. Nimrod put Avram in jail for 10 years. After that he asked Avram if he believes in the idols and Avram said, “NO!” They tied Avraham’s hands and feet with rope, and threw him into the fire. A big miracle happened and only the ropes burned. Avram was walking around the fire in which a bea
