Image
Sukkot, the Festival of Booths, is a cherished time of year when Jewish families come together to celebrate. In this blog post, we've carefully curated a collection of captivating children's books that will help young readers understand and embrace the traditions and significance of Sukkot. Join us on this literary journey through the holiday season! 1. **" The Wind and the Sukkah " by Aydel Lebovics:** Join Mr. Levi in this heartwarming tale where an unusually strong wind provides him with the materials he needs to build a Sukkah, the temporary hut erected for the celebration of Sukkot.  2. **" Zaydie's Special Esrogim " by Aydel Lebovics:** Every Sukkot, Zaydie's garage turns into something special...a lulav and esrog store! Will there be enough esrogim? Too many? Enjoy the holiday with Dovid as he learns that there are even more Mitzvot than meet the eye when it comes to Sukkot. 3. **" A Tree Full of Mitzvos " by Dina Rosenfeld:**

We are excited to announce the launch of our new site where you can purchase digital art to decorate and enhance your classroom, homeschool and personal use.  Having been a teacher for 10+ years and homeschooling for 4 years, I know how hard it is to find engaging puppets and art to teach the Jewish holidays and the Parsha - Torah portion. Now you don't need to search any longer, we've got your back! We've got great plans. Right now the store is stocked with art/puppets/props for the month of Tishrei - Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Sukkot and Simchat Torah. We also have coloring pages that are great for keeping your littles busy and we have a shana tova card as a free download! Check out our site: PreschoolCreations.org so see samples and all our available products.

We had the kids split into groups and make sukkahs out of different items. Then we went on a nature walk and cut schach - branches - for our sukkahs.
