Tu b'shevat coloring pages and puppets and art available for download

Tu B'shevat, also known as the "New Year of the Trees," is a Jewish holiday that falls on the 15th day of the Hebrew month of Shevat. It is a time to celebrate and give thanks for the abundance of fruits and nuts that come from trees.

Teaching little kids about Tu B'shevat can be a fun and interactive way to introduce them to Jewish traditions and the importance of environmental stewardship. One way to do this is by creating a Tu B'shevat-themed coloring page or puppet activity.

Our Tu B'shevat coloring pages feature pictures of the shivat haminim - the 7 species of Israel, such as grapes, figs, pomegranates, and dates.

In addition to coloring pages, we also offer Tu B'shevat puppets. These puppets can be used to act out stories or songs about the holiday, or to learn the significance of each of the 7 types of foods that Israel is blessed with. These puppets can also be used to help children learn more about the different fruits  that are eaten on Tu B'shevat.

Included in the puppet set is a larger version of all the 7 types that you can use as bulletin board décor to celebrate Tu B'shevat.

We like to have a Tu B'shevat "seder" and taste different fruits and the 7 kinds.

By incorporating coloring pages, puppets, and taste testing activities into your Tu B'shevat celebration, you can make the holiday fun and interactive for little ones. Our Tu B'shevat coloring pages and puppets are available for download on our website, and we hope they will be a useful resource for parents and teachers.

Here is a Tu B'shevat cake we created. It's a chocolate cake. We decorated with frosting and fruit shaped candies.

Here is a Tu b'shevat project we did. It's a family tree. The kids cut out different fruits and drew each member of their family on a different fruit. They pasted the fruits on an outline of a tree.
