Preschool Creations

I made a simple out line of a menorah. The kids colored popsicle sticks and glued them on the lines. They scrunched up tissue paper to create flames.

We painted with ice cubes for letter 'I'. Ice cube paint recipe: Put 1 teaspoon of tempera paint in each section of an ice cube tray. Then fill the rest of the section with water and stir. After they sit 10 minutes,  stir the paint in again. Put them in the freezer. Insert popsicle sticks once they are slightly frozen. 

We formed triangles with popsicle sticks. You can also print out a simple outline of different shapes that they can match up.

For our winter theme, we baked pancakes. When they were ready, we put a doily on top and sprinkled confectioner's sugar on it to make a snowflake. We painted over a doily to create a winter snowflake
