We spent a lot of time learning about Colombia and some ocean animals. Being that Colombia borders on 2 oceans, we delved into sharks, humpback whales and sea turtles. We really enjoyed learning about them. We learned a bit of Spanish. We cooked lots of Colombian food. Finally, we really enjoyed getting glimpses of beautiful places in Colombia.

FOOD:

We made lots of different Colombian foods. We really enjoyed trying out the new flavors. I made all these recipes.

  • Caño Cristales - I showed my child photos of the Rainbow river and she drew her own version

  • Guatape - We looked at photos linked above and drew our own colorful houses
